Blue Cool Tea is our very own organic blueberry tea with an organic lemon verbena. We make our own blueberry tea from the fruit and the leaves of the wild Maine blueberry plants that we have been growing on our farm since 1989. We have been certified organic by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association since 2002. The organic lemon verbena that we add to our blueberry tea is certified organic by Oregon Tilthe and we purchase the lemon verbena from Mountain Rose Herbs. We do all of our own blending right here!
We have added this "By the Ounce" tea to our loose blueberry tea page and is available to purchase at $5 an ounce.
Because we care, we wanted you to know that we use a biodegradable and compostable cellophane bag which is heat sealed and then put that into a kraft bag for shipping. We highly recommend transferring our tea to an airtight, sealable container to preserve and maintain the high quality of freshness that we offer in ALL our teas. Our tea, when kept in an airtight container and dry, will last 3 years, but we hope you don't keep it around that long! Please treat our tea like you would any other dried fruit product, because it is real fruit! We add no preservatives, sulphites, or sweeteners to our blueberry tea. All you are tasting is the sweet goodness of sun ripened organic wild Maine blueberries which we happily grow here on our farm.
